The events of the first book of the trilogy " The endless adventures of Chepchill" take place in Cubalma, one of the continents of Cubeworld.

The story begins with the fact that on a quiet, peaceful evening, a certain Snailo comes to the main character Chepchill and reports that serious shocks await Cubalma soon and he will have to flee the capital with his friends.

Ignoring these ridiculous predictions, Chepchill makes plans, hoping to graduate from university, start a medical practice, marry his beloved Eve, get a small tummy and a couple of cute kids.

He receives a second warning from a patient of psychiatric hospital Chelyuskin, who is his ward during medical practice at the hospital.

Throwing aside all the gloomy predictions, the main character decides to get engaged to his beloved. To do this, he buys a couple of wonderful rings from a certain jeweler named Fublin, who in reality turns out to be a magician and throughout the story more than once helps Chepchill and his beloved Eve.

However, the dark predictions are destined to come true and the troops of the Gnuz army attack Cubalma and occupy the capital Cubana and part of the country's territory. The military intervention is sponsored by the Gnuzland mafiosi, who, with the help of the traitor Chenusha, the staff officer of the Cubalma army, organize the military campaign "Circus".

Having passed through captivity in Trenzel, from where Chepchill is rescued by his childhood friend, the aircraft designer Cheppelin, the main character becomes the commander of a partisan detachment, and, under the guidance of instructors from the main headquarters of the army, conducts several brilliant operations to destroy enemy forces and equipment. The most large-scale operation was the transition with a group of saboteurs through the gloomy underground Cubetube and undermining the Gnuz's airfield. This operation becomes a turning point in the war against the Gnuz army and contributes to the speedy victory of the Che.

Meanwhile, Chepchill's beloved Eve, fleeing the persecution of her hated boyfriend Chefir, suddenly turns into a small fish and swims down the river to her lover. So for the first time she discovers her unique ability to transform. Plunging into the past, she learns that she acquired these unique abilities in childhood, involuntarily encountering an artifact from the island of Chefarinos, which was stolen from the Makkuns by her grandfather, Colonel Weirdo.

The witch Mola Grande is hunting for the Eve and her unique abilities, with whom Eve, being a fish, first encounters at the bottom of the river. Using magic, the spying abilities of his servant Ktyr and the involuntary betrayal of Eve's and Chepchill's comrade, Mola organizes the kidnapping of the girl.

Chepchill tries to find his beloved, but to no avail. He remains depressed and longing until Snailo comes for him again in the early morning and on the ship of Chepchill's great-grandfather , who arrived from the past, they leave Cubeworld and go to the new world in search of Eve.
